The Big Blue is a 1988 film by Luc Besson. It's the story of two friends and their love for the ocean and free-diving. The film is a bit long, but the scenery is so gorgeous that you won't get bored. And it has one of the best music scores ever!
I recommend watching the European version (Version Longue) because many scenes were deleted from the American version.
